Ellen DeGeneres, 52, has joined Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi on the new season of American Idol. She has already started taping “Hollywood week” on Tuesday night.
Daily mail observed that the majority of people posting about DeGeneres on Twitter praised her. Some said they were only tuning in for DeGeneres, but not everyone was a devotee.
MTV said that the new judge receives mostly positive reviews, although one critic complains she said 'nothing of consequence.'
The episode is scheduled to air on Wednesday.
