Toyota: No sub-brand for the Prius

Toyota denies rumors officially related to the will of the manufacturer to create a sub-brand for the Prius: U.S. marketing director for advanced technology vehicles, Ed Larocque, held that the Prius is too important a name for the image of Toyota and the house can not afford to opt out. Larocque has also specified that the model remains the third most popular vehicle of Nissan North American
