Paris Hilton Detained at Japan Airport Over Cocaine Case

Paris Hilton was reportedly detained and questioned by airport immigration officials in Japan for six hours over her recent cocaine case.

The 29-year-old heiress, who flew to Japan for a business trip with her sister Nicky, was stopped by the immigration authorities at the Tokyo's Narita airport. She is allowed to stay in an airport hotel before officially enter Japan until the matter is resolved, according to multiple reports.

"Paris Hilton was delayed by immigration authorities at a Japanese airport this evening after arriving for business obligations planned many months earlier," her rep told People.

"Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn't want to let down her brands and many Asian fans. She intended on fulfilling her contract and is trying hard to do the responsible thing, but this is beyond her control. She is very disappointed by tonight's events."

Paris’s trip in Asia including Tokyo, Japan, Jakarta, Indonesia, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was due to debut her 2010 fall/winter fashion collections.
