Rumors of Simpson’s new romance with the ex-NFL player first emerged from TMZ. Johnson was married but split from his wife earlier this year. He officially filed for divorce in February.
Simpson divorced from singer and actor Nick Lachey in 2006 after fours years of marriage. The star once dated Dallas Cowboys player Tony Romo for two years. But she was dumped by him on her birthday last year and hasn't really dated anyone since then.
